Some Days Are Like That

Days of joy,
Days of sadness,
Days that you cry to smile
Some days are just like that.
Days you live for the comfort of life,
Days your wish tomorrow might not come,
Days you see your dreams roll over you,
Some days are definitely like that.
Days that life smiles on you,
Days the miracle seems unworthy,
Days you feel the worth of life,
Sincerely some days are like that.
Days without any struggle,
Days without much effort,
Days when the sky is a blessing,
Truly some days are like that.
Days you plant,
Days you harvest,
Days you live in plenty,
Everyday should be like that.
Days you live for something,
Days you live for nothing,
Days within a walk of faith,
Make everyday to be like that.
Days the sun rise,
Days that darkness comes,
Days in mixture of mystery,
Some days are like that.
Days comes in both forms,
You either have it plus or minus,
But never expect it to always be rosy,
Some day and some days are just like that.

There I Look

I stand within the height of my mind,
And look within the road that has no end
All I see is a beautiful world worth living for
A future that is as bright as the star.
I look with every inch of hope in view
And behold a virgin land of honour
All I could live for is right within my eyes
A future that is as bright as the shining sun.
Again I look with no mistake of sight
And what I see will marvel my generation
All I see is a land fill with milk and honey
A future stored in the treasure of gold.
Never let me be weary or let bitterness
Take away the joy hidden in my tomorrow
For I know and I know that a brighter future
Will ever await me, that is, if I wait in humility.
