June 19, 2015. A day so feel with hope within my mind when I was in a very deep reflection. And then, I had the urge to share some of my written thoughtful words of encouragement on the Whatzapp Group created for the RCCG, House of Grace, Province 5, Port Harcourt, House Fellowship Leaders General Discussion Forum to drop some of the my written works.
First, I dropped the topic – “LOVE IS UNCONDITIONAL” while waiting for reaction from everyone in the group. Here is how it went.
When it comes to love, so many things are involved but the bottom line is the one clear statement that defines the meaning of true love and that is, it must be unconditional.
~When you seek to love, love unconditional. That is what will make love to retain its true meaning.~
Loving someone means you dedicating your heart towards making that relationship work. Like the saying, what you love you cherish and wouldn’t want to see anything bad happen nor harm that person.
It was the same unconditional love that God had that He gave His only begotten Son for the sake of the perishing human race.
It was this same unconditional love that our Saviour had for the same mankind. This was the same that made Him say, father I will go, that your work might not parish.
In our quiet time, do we actually sit back to reflect on why our Savior could love us this much even unto the point of giving up His life for us when actually He had an option to have allow us perish after all, He could still create another being just the way He created us?
Love was the reason and that same love He asked of us to love one another even as Christ loved the Church. But do we adhere to this?
Do we follow after the footstep of Him whom we seek to be His disciple? Christ is love and for love, he gave His all just to make us have an everlasting communion with His Father.
Living without the iota of Christ’s love, is like living for nothing. No matter what we pass through, we have a Father who cares. We shouldn’t seek to gain all the mansions of this world and yet think not of our eternity after out time here on earth.
~Have that communion with the one who created you. And your life will forever be better for it.~
Love in its purest form is unconditional. Anything attached to it is not love. When you seek to love, you seek not to find any fault in the person you love. Any of the fault of that person, is what love seeks to cover or eliminate. Love is life and love is divine.
It is a commandment for us to love. We are to love unconditionally. Having this at the back of our mind will go a long way in giving us the enabling foresight that when we seek out to love, we should love in its purest forms which is unconditional.
You should be able to give to the one your love a piece of your heart. It should be a token of all that is within you. This is a direct way to feel and free your mind of any doubt that may come in to make you feel otherwise.
Give your heart no matter how hurt you may doubt to feel. You shouldn’t consider the hurt even if it comes, if your mind is made up in love, you wouldn’t feel the hurt too much even if it eventually comes.
~True love sometimes hurts deeper.~
Love is love, hurt or without hurt. Sometimes the love that hurts is the love that is real. It helps us to understand the person we love better.
It makes us know that after all we are human. And the spirit to forgive is divine when we are hurt by the one we love. Our ways at times hurts the One who created us but in spite of it, He still loves us without comprehension.
~Love is strong, and if you seek to kill the bound embedded in love, sincerely you are wasting your time.~
Love counts for creation; love makes the world go round. Love reconciles us to Our Maker. Love gives to us all that we need to make life a beautiful place to live in. Love is all and love would ever be all.
~Learn to love unconditionally and with no string attached. It is the best you can do to your spirit, body and soul.~
When you love unconditionally, you would find in between you the heart to cherish what you love and make it a worthy treasure that only the gift of your unconditional love can behold.
Love and love with all your heart, when you love, you destroy hatred and made everything around you to be at peace with you and all.
~Love is all and without unconditional love, the world and the human race is doom.~

While waiting for the reaction which wasn’t coming at the conclusion of the post. And as I wait, I then decided to drop another series – “THE 3D PRINCIPLES TO ACHIEVE YOUR DREAMS”.

A bold statement from a man with a brave heart! This is not just a mare statement but a statement mixed with what I called the “3D Principles” (Discipline, Determination and Dedication) to produce results.
The London 2012 Olympic had come and gone but the memory of the spring king whose 9.58-second 100m race is considered the fastest in the history will ever lingered on the mind of those who saw it coming.
Speaking about Bolt, one will realized that he did not just drop from the moon to become a reference point in the field of track but I would say, he applied the 3D Principles to get to the height we all have come to admire once he does the “Lighting bolt” sign after winning every race.
My main focus on this article is not to bore you but to draw out a simple fact about life which we missed while chasing our dreams.
Nothing takes a man to the top like the passion for his dream. And speaking about passion, the desire to achieve it, is the spring board to which the dream in our hearts are propelled to its accomplishment if given the right focus in the platform of what I considered to be the 3D Principles.
A study of men who had ever achieved their dreams, one would realized the recurrent decimals in their travail to make their dreams a reality.
The power of discipline, determination and above all dedication has always played that important role in every phase of achieving ones dream and purpose in life. Every other Principle, if carefully looked at, has their laws embedded in what I considered to be the 3D Principles.
If we speak about the positive forces to achieving our dreams like; staying focus, taking action, building a positive self image, moving around with the right people, having a mentor, recognizing time management, etc or the negative forces like; procrastination, depression, low self esteem, not believing in oneself, lack of seriousness etc, we would realized that all are enclosed within the 3D Principles.
Discipline! No man achieves anything in life without discipline. If actually we seek to achieve our goal in life, then we should learn to be discipline and tailored ourselves towards achieving that purpose.
Actually men would always dream but working towards making that dream a reality is always a problem. I have seen men with great potentials and ideas but lacking in the strong will to make their dream come true. And making any dream come true has to do with discipline.
Trying to define the word discipline I would say could make us break the dictionary in search of it. To me, discipline is discipline and no short cut to it.
If you are discipline, you will excel in your chosen field but if not, you will remain where you are for as long as you lack discipline. In other to be focus, you need discipline.
It is what will take you far and guide you to your desired destination which is to achieve your goal and purpose in life.
Time management is another essential outlook of discipline. The time to build our dreams is not a negotiable time to play around and engaged in what will bring us no profit at the end.
It might look tough at the start but that is what it takes to achieve our dream and purpose in life. Always have at the back of your mind that we wouldn’t be here forever and every little time we have, counts a lot.
Do not be lazy with time or always procrastinate about moving up with your dream. The moment you dream it, then it is time to start working towards achieving it and all you need to make that a reality is to discipline yourself no matter the challenges that might make you want to give up.
~Dreams can only be achieved if we discipline ourselves and workhard with the sole aim to achieve it.~
If we take a look at this, the ability to plan and achieve our strategy is embedded in discipline. Discipline, gives us the heart to plan and to stay focus on our plan.
Life actually teaches us to plan. In the place of planning, discipline, plays an important role. It is the discipline we give to our plan, that we can withstand the pressure that comes along every steps we take to make our dream a reality.
Planning enables you overcome so many challenges. It makes you determine your income and expenditure. It is what also contributes in making your dream a reality.
If your aim is to make a success out of your life, you need to plan in every steps of your endeavour. Even in a battle, it is him who plan ahead that victory is ensure.
So in all you do, plan ahead and never walk with a blind state of mind feeling that all is well.
~All is actually well when you learn to plan ahead.~
Determination! David was determined and that was why he could stand up to Goliath (1 Samuel 17:1-58). Determination comes with the braveness of heart that likes taking risk.
Risk, is what brings us gain. Remember the saying, “No risk, no gain”. Anyone with a brave heart of taking calculated risk can make a success out of anything. If you take a look at successful men, you will realize the risk element in their entire endeavour.
~Risk is what brings us profit and to get to that point, determination is a sure word that guides the process.~
You might have all the ideas and potential, but if you are not determined, you can never achieve your aim. You might have heard people say, “I must succeed”.
The moment they are determined and puts that word into action, sincerely, it comes to be. Nothing is as powerful as spoken word backed by determination and action.
In the Book of Genesis (1:1-29), it was the spoken words from God that all that is to be, came to be. These words were not just spoken; there were backed up with immediate action. Looking at this, we can employ same in all that we seek to become.
The moment we discover our potentials and what we have passion for, it is left for us to keep speaking it and backing them up with the determination to take action. If we keep to it, then we can become it no matter the obstacle that comes our way.
Remember nothing makes a man so confident of himself like determination. If you are determined, you win, but if not, you lose. So be determined to win and keep winning all the way.
~Winning in life is a function of self determination.~
Dedication! I like what the Bible said in Proverbs (22:29), “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean [men].
Here, the word diligent has to do with commitment and discipline. It is in the place of discipline; one will find his destiny and fulfilled his dream and purpose. Joseph is a good example of a man who has the power of discipline in him.
It was through discipline that he achieved his dream when every temptation within him to have yielded to his master’s wife played itself down (Gen. 39:7-18).
~Though discipline might deny us living a life of permanent or temporary pleasure, but the end justifies the means.~
It is the end that tells a man’s story and not the beginning. It is good to discipline ourselves if our aim in life is to achieve our goal.
The 3D principles we could see clearly has to do with preparation, persistence, giving oneself to the course you believes which would bring you the desire fulfillment of your desired dream.
Dedication to your dream will always bring an unspeakable joy to the body and soul if you keep to it. If you can show me a man who is dedicated to his duty, then, I would show you a man who will succeed without much struggle.
Nothing brings a man to his desire place of fulfilled like dedication. In other to find the fulfillment of purpose, you need to be dedicated to what you do.
Do not make your dream a one leg in and one leg out affair. It is not the best and would never be. Dedication is all you need to make life worth living.
~The more you are dedicated, the more you will discover the loop holes and gain the desire experience which is priceless and a panacea to help propel you to success and achieving your dream.~
Lastly, let me leave you with this post I found on my Facebook page from FasteCash. “Thomas Edison had a dream, he gave us light bulb, Wright Brothers had a dream, they gave us airplane, Henry Ford had a dream, he gave us automobile, Bill Gate had a dream, he gave us Window Operating System, Mark Zuckerberg had a dream, he gave us facebook. What is your dream? Don’t lose focus of it, be persistent and the world will soon celebrate you.”
You will make it no if you stay disciplined, determined and dedicated no matter the test of time. Just have the faith in your ability with the grace of God backing you, you will succeed.
Whatever you want out of life, if you stay within the three code principles as stated, you can win any race no matter the obstacle. Focus on your dream and apply yourself to these principles.
This is what the successful people we admired are using to build up their life and investment. There is no magic to it, put your life to work and take action. You will get there I believe. A toast to your success!

It was after I dropped the second series “THE 3D PRINCIPLES TO ACHIEVE YOUR DREAM” which has to do with Discipline, Determination and Dedication that I got the first response that says.
“Kindly come up with more series in this area or other areas.” – Darlington Sekibo”.
And my response to this was:
“Darlington, I sure will as the encouragement keeps flowing in. I just want to make sense. And lots of thought provoking thoughts are on my kitty to be dropped”.
He then dropped another words to my response:
Great be assured that you have me as a mentee. If you would kindly do a research on GENEROSITY and it’s place in achieving a dream. Kindly give more real life examples of persons who achieved their dreams through discipline, determination and dedication.
And my response was:
Darlington, for the asking, let me run another series now with real life examples.
It was after this response that I ran another series – “BE INSPIRED TO GREATNESS”.
“I was raped at the age of 9.” – Oprah Winfrey. “I didn’t even complete my university education.” – Bill Gates. “In my childhood days, I stitched shoes.” – Abraham Lincoln. “I struggled academically through elementary school.” – Dr. Ben Carson. “I used to serve tea at a shop to support my football training.” – Lionel Messi. “I used to sleep on the floor in friends’ rooms, returning Coke bottles for food money and getting weekly free meals at a local temple.” – Steve Jobs. “My teachers used to call me a failure.” – PM Tony Blair
I got these inspiring words sometimes ago that almost got some drop of tears out of my eyes from Whatapps Connect’s Facebook page. Sincerely the moment I saw this post, I sat back and began to think and reason at the same time; asking myself if these people actually went through all that in life.
If actually they went through this like they confessed, then it makes me to wonder why people are worrying and just killing themselves over nothing.
If these great men and women could withstood the humiliation, depression, despair, and the lowest self-esteem of the highest order, and still could make it to the top and become that which they desired to be in life, then we as human have no excuses to fail.
~Despair are the foot mat on which we build our success story.~
Life is dynamic this I believe we all know. What actually makes it so is the worth of it. And this worth can only be gotten if we go through its many roads that are filled with thorns which prepare us ahead to actualize our dreams.
~There is no vision without despair and there is no victory without setbacks.~
We should have it at the back of our mind that nothing good comes easy. If you want it good, then be prepared to pay the price.
Sincerely, if these great people whom the world still stand in salute of their courage could past through all these in their early life and still could make it to the top without allowing what they went through affect their mindset, then we who are passing through difficult time at the moment in our life’s, have no excuse or bundle of reasons to make life feel as if it is a bed of rose all through the time.
~Stand up and fight for your right no matter the frustration you are going through.~
For the benefit of doubt, we all knows who these personalities are in our present world and the influence they carried in their respective field of human endeavours.
On a lighter note, there is no need to further boost their ego, maybe you should take a little time online and do a search on Google for each of the mentioned names maybe a little prove of the outcome will convince you.
For me, as I sat back to do a little deep research online about each of the personalities, I realized something that is so striking about each of them.
~Victory is achieved after passing through many rough roads without stopping by to complaint.~
Apart from reading about them and coming across some of them on our television set, if you could look beyond their appearance, you will sense what I saw.
That striking attributes that defines every successful person. The very attributes the Bible recognized as the route one should take to achieve greatness. A look at that attribute is in Matthew (23:12) “And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted”.
It is good to humble yourself because humility is the key to success. When you are humble, you will ever be at peace with your enemy.
~Humility is the gateway to success.~
Taking a look at some of the notable Bible characters, we can see that what made them stands out is nothing but the spirit of humility.
Abraham was humbled and God called him the father of all nations. Joseph, was humbled that makes him became a King in a strange land. David was humble and God called him a man after His heart. Esther exhibits the spirit of humility and she was chosen among other to be the Queen.
~Humility is what opens everlasting doors to greatness.~
There is something able humility that connects with our faith to actualize our dreams, destiny and the purpose to which we were created.
When a man is humble, you will find within him this undeniable faith that gives him the grace to face every challenges of life and walk through them without making it feel as if that is the end for him.
Humility is what opens every closed door. When you walk with humility, you can never be stranded no matter what you are passing through.
~Difficult times was not designed to break you down totally but are designed as a testing ground to inspire you to greatness.~
So in ever difficult time you experience, it should not make you give up but rather, kill the fear in you, rise up and face it squarely because what you stand up to, is what will make you tall and not what you sit down about.
Imagine if these people had given up, would we have gotten men who are inspiring their generation to greatness? Let us say Bill Gates has given up; then there will be no Microsoft and the richest man in the world. And if Lionel Messi had given up, many would not be enjoying the beautiful game he gives to Barcelona.
Imagine that Dr. Ben Cason had given up, then where would there be the gifted hand that leads the way to the first successfully separation of sesame twins. And if Steve job had done the same, today, there would be no Apple and the Ipads. And if Oprah Winfrey had done the same, what would have happen to the brand Oprah Winfrey Show?
If Abraham Lincoln had given up in spite of the many times he failed, but till date, he is the most and would I say the best American President of all time. What of Tony Blair, the British has in him a Prime Ministers, Minister. In all, do not let the challenges of life, makes you forget your dreams.
~No matter the difficult time you are going through, never give up on your dreams.~
In life giving up when it is not conductive is like defeating yourself. The things we pass through in life are to toughen us and make us strong.
It is to teach up the real lesson of life in progression. And when we give up, we kill our dreams and also in the process kill our purpose.
In other to save mankind, Our Saviour went through so much and in all that He went through, He never complained but He said Father forgives them for they know not what they do.
If he had complained, then the purpose would have been defeated. He chose to give it all it takes because that was the only option that could bring salvation to the whole world.
~Complaining about your situation will give you no edge to push forward and make your dream a reality.~
Lastly, every life is to fulfill a purpose and the road to fulfilling that purpose is scattered with thorns. Thorns of difficulties, depression, hatred, backbiting, frustration and all other negative devices you can think of but the bottom line is we as individual, who believes their dreams, shouldn’t be afraid to give it all that we have gotten within us.
I know people who may only see your physical appearance without looking at your inside and determining the gift and potentials within you. I know this may seem to discourage you, but for you, you shouldn’t be discouraged but rather to hold on to your faith.
It is only yourself who knows you have it and it is your duty to hold on to it and never let anyone discourages you. People will talk, but be yourself. What you need to do is look up to Him who has given you the gift and humble yourself in place of authority.
If you can be true to yourself and you Maker, then forever and at all time, you will always find the inspiration that will inspired you to greatness.
~Stand firm and you will overcome.~
It was after this series that another brother, James, wrote:
“I have been on the free way, just reading these lovely post great works to the inspirer and same to those inspiring him to inspire us”.
And my response was:
“James, my awesome leader. You inspire me with your unique way of breaking down God’s word. The zeal to work for our Creator is the reason for our everyday increase and protection. God bless you always.”
When Michael Ibia, our House Fellowship Coordinator, RCCG, House of Grace, responded:
I never knew there was such a great motivator with us. You have inspired me but like Oliver Twist, I want more. May the Lord bless you real good. You may have to speak to us someday”.
All I could say to this was, “I am deeply humbled. Thanks”.
What more can I say. It is like when a father encourages his son to strive on, this makes you know that you are actually on the right path and knowing that what you took for granted, actually makes sense to others, then if you have gotten this messages within your thought life, there you will understand that it is time to go forth.
And with the thought in my mind to do a research on “GENEROSITY AND IT’S PLACE IN ACHIEVING OUR DREAMS” which the emphasizes was actually placed on generosity. And like a humbled servant who is here to serve, I took it upon myself to research the word seriously for a life transforming thoughts as the inspiration from above directs. Now, let’s take it as it goes.
To begin this series, first what crosses my mind here was the life of our Saviour. And I asked myself if Christ did not accept to die on the cross for our sin, then the dream of salvation to mankind to me, would have been a mirage.
As I pondered on this, this crosses my mind. We are all enjoying the benefits of salvation and the grace of God all because our Saviour was ready to pay the ultimate price. To me, the price that was paid is a dream comes true.
The heart embedded in generosity, is the heart of unconditional love. You can’t be generous without having a giving heart. Generosity thinks of others without even considering the pain one will go through to bring the needed comfort to others.
Why Generosity?
When I dropped the series “THE 3D PRINCIPLES TO ACHIEVE YOUR DREAM” which has to do with Discipline, Determination and Dedication, I got a response from Barrister Darlington Sekibo to do a research on “GENEROSITY AND IT’S PLACE IN ACHIEVING OUR DREAMS”.
The emphasizes was actually placed on generosity. And like a humbled servant who is here to serve, I took it upon myself to research the word seriously for a life transforming thoughts as the inspiration from above directs. Now, let’s take it as it goes.
