You Talk, You Die! You Don't Talk, You Die!! So, Let Me Talk And Die!!!

You Talk, You Die! You Don't Talk, You Die!! So, Let Me Talk And Die!!!, Early last year, I introduced my concert proposal to so many wealthy Akwa Ibom Sons for assistance, many excused themselves on grounds that I wasn't from their LGA, one of the lawmakers I met even told me to wait till his constituency empowerment so my event could be added as one of his empowerment projects, others blamed the season I came, many refused taking my phone calls, one lawmaker then advised I should wait for the day I will perform before Governor Udom Emmanuel, so he can introduced me to the governor on the premise that his office makes him sit close to the governor at occasions, (A sit he no longer occupy today) not knowing I had over 50 ways to drag the governors attention of which he is the least to consider. In summary, I encountered so many nasty excuses just so they won't assist me.

I summed up courage to meeting a man I wasn't friendly with as at then, Hon. Akan Okon (Hon. Commissioner For Finance), I gave him my proposal, he read through & replied "START PREPARATIONS, WITH GOD ON OUR SIDE, I WILL SPONSOR EVERYTHING".  To be sure I wasn't dreaming, I pointed him again to the total estimate. Again, he said, "I'M ONE OF YOUR FANS BUT YOU DON'T KNOW, I HAVE SEEN THE TOTAL COST, START PLANNING, I WILL SPONSOR EVERYTHING".

Next, he beckoned on his aide, Edidiong-Abasi Awak Okon to give me N500,000 to start up. Friends, that was how a DETRIBALISED ITU MAN sponsored my event tagged, "KING JAMES VERSION" last year December that gulped up to N3 Million without caring to know if I was from Itu LGA.

An event hosted in a hall donated free by former deputy governor, Engr. Chris Ekpenyong. Funny enough, he still receives my calls & replies my messages even after my concert.  If you know me too well, you should know I don't hide negative issues simply because it linked to a certain big man or politician. Again, I don't joke with gratitude. I'm always ready to bear any consequence(s) of my sincerity. That was why I took my award as BEST COMEDIAN IN AKWA IBOM STATE to him in appreciation for his love and support towards my career. A man who never waited to use my event as constituency project, he never complained of the season, he never waited to introduce me to Governor Udom.

I remember one of my performance before the governor few weeks to my concert, that night before performing, I went to commissioner Akan Okon to ask if I should present my invitation card to the governor when am called to perform, he said NO.

He advised I should focus on my performance. Few days after my concert, he called to deliver an envelope containing N500,000, when I asked the source of the money, he told me it was from the governor to me just for using DAKKADA symbol on my poster designs. (So he introduced my event to the governor without informing me or waiting till I performed before the governor?) NO WONDER, he also won two awards, EXCELLENCE AWARD & BEST COMMISSIONER IN AKWA IBOM STATE last Friday.

I join other fathers who you have been a blessing to in celebrating your kind of FATHER today being Father's Day.

You are a DETRIBALISED gentleman.
